User Agreement

This User Agreement ("Agreement") applies when you submit a vlog, video link, photo, comment, or review ("Content") to JourneyCities ("we", "us", "the Platform"). By checking the agreement box and submitting Content, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country of residence, to create an account and submit Content. By submitting Content, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. You Own Your Content

You retain full ownership of any video, photo, or written Content you submit. Submitting Content to JourneyCities does not transfer ownership to us — you remain the copyright holder.

3. License You Grant to Us

By submitting Content, you grant JourneyCities a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and promote your Content on the Platform and in connection with promoting the Platform (for example, on our social media channels), for as long as the Content remains published. This license ends when you delete your Content or your account, except where copies have already been shared or cached as part of normal platform operation.

4. Your Responsibilities and Warranties

By submitting Content, you confirm that:

— You own the Content, or have all necessary rights and permissions from the people who appear in it and from the owners of any music, footage, or other material it includes.
— The Content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
— The Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not contain misleading claims about safety, prices, availability, or legal requirements at a destination.
— You are legally responsible for the Content you submit.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not submit Content that:

— Is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence.
— Is sexually explicit or exploits or endangers minors.
— Harasses, bullies, or threatens any person.
— Infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
— Contains spam, scams, or deceptive commercial content.
— Impersonates another person, business, or destination in a misleading way.
— Encourages dangerous, illegal, or reckless behavior at a destination.

6. Review and Moderation

All submitted Content is reviewed before publication. We may approve, reject, edit for formatting, or remove any Content at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice — including Content that was previously approved, if it is later found to violate this Agreement. We are under no obligation to publish any Content you submit.

7. Reporting Content

Other users may report Content they believe violates this Agreement. We review reports and may remove Content or restrict an account's ability to submit Content as a result. Submitting repeated false reports may itself result in account restrictions.

8. No Warranty on Travel Information

Vlogs, reviews, and comments on JourneyCities reflect the personal opinions and experiences of individual community members, not JourneyCities itself. Prices, opening hours, safety conditions, and travel requirements change frequently and may be inaccurate or outdated by the time you view them. Always verify important travel details (visas, safety advisories, prices, opening hours) with official or current sources before making travel decisions.

9. Account and Content Removal

We may suspend or terminate your ability to submit Content, or remove previously published Content, if you violate this Agreement, submit repeated low-quality or non-compliant Content, or if we discontinue this feature of the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JourneyCities is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of Content submitted by other users, or from decisions made based on information found on the Platform. Content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continuing to submit Content after an update means you accept the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey.
